This book was chosen by Janet Penn,it was left for us all to read before she died. We are not sure she had been able to read it or even take much in but we thank her for her choice.
It was full of complex characters, mystery, romance and family secrets.
The book has been highly rated, enchanting and quite a romantic drama.
It had a blend of family secrets, mystery and vibrant European travel! It involved a struggling English farm as well as romantic canals of Venice, Lisbon and Prague.
You will be glad to hear it carried a happy ending for all concerned, even though there were some strange and bitty chapters in order to get there.
May be Janet wished as a previous review suggested, it was to be enjoyed with a glass of wine and the sun on your back?
